The big reveal....

EDIT- THE SALE OF THE RESTAURANT FELL THROUGH AND MATT AND I DECIDED TO STEP BACK AND FOCUS SOLEY ON NOOK AND LET SOMEONE ELSE BUY THE GARAGE. IT HAS SINCE CLOSED AND WILL BE REOPENED WITH A NEW CONCEPT.

Some of you will be disappointed because you already know. We had to tell a select few so we could get some feedback. 

Here's the short of it, just incase you aren't interested in a read. Matt and I are working on another restaurant called The Garage! As most of you know our first restaurant "Nook" Is well into year 2 and doing great! So great that we had a little extra time to think about our next step!

A couple of months ago our friend Nate reached out to us about a possible opportunity. The next day the Owner of The Garage called us for a chat. The original owner is a really nice man, the issue is that owning a restaurant is a fun idea, but once you get down to it, it's very hard work and it's such a time suck that if restaurants aren't your passion then you probably won't have a good time. So while he is great, he wanted to step back, and live the life that he intended. Instead of being consumed with the day to day restaurant needs. 

In the past 3 months we have hired and trained a new staff, redone the menu 3 times, taken over social media, worked out a marketing plan, re did the website, had the logo redone, taken over the beer ordering, put together a new liquor system, made new relationships with vendors in town and brought in some of our favorites. We have transitioned from a basic burger joint with some tacos restaurant to a fully scratch kitchen style gastro pub. 

Matt and I put our hearts into everything that we do and we are so excited for this next step in our lives.
