Dear Henry, You survived the big freeze! Happy transfer-versary!

Dear Henry, You survived the big freeze! Happy transfer-versary!

1 year ago today our IVF journey came full circle and we transferred 2 frozen embryos. 1 of those being Henry! He is undoubtedly the most amazing little man in the whole world. He fought to get here from the jump. After my sickness (OHSS) My body wasn't strong enough for the fresh transfer that we had originally planned. Henry was then cryopreserved and was frozen for 2 months. He was thawed, and put in a dish, then Matt had to verify that his dish had our names on it, then they sucked him up into this massive syringe and put him in place! We didn't realize at the time, but that strength was just Henry being Henry.

I would do it all again, and I wouldn't change a thing.

I mean... come on. Look at this face!

A very special shout out to the wonderful woman at Arizona reproductive Institute and my favorites, Dr. Mansfield, Jennifer, Frances, and Leah. These woman literally made my dreams come true. They held me while I was broken and lifted me up. They were my strength when I needed it and my support system when no one else knew our struggle! 1 million thanks! We just love you ladies!

Love,

Nikki
